You know how on text messages you can view the time the message was sent, its usuallyfound by scrolling left at the side of the message on the iphone? well is the time displayed the time the person sent the message or is it just the time you recieved it?

For example if i message a friend at 11:30 pm and theres a delay in the message (for some reason) meaning they only recieve it at 1am. Will their phone display the time i actually sent the message (11.30) or will they think that im texting them at 1am?
