So i recently came out to my parents about no longer being a virgin and got the worst response in the world. I was made to feel like a prostitute and someone who was unclean.

I was wondering what your views on virginity were

I think women should keep their virginity.

What are your reasons behind that?

What about men?
That’s what annoys me. Men are treated like gods for having sex, but females are shamed for it!

Sex after marriage. I can't believe sex is now reduced as a transaction and promiscuity is encouraged. its disgusting.

It is a personal decision that every person has the freedom to choose for themselves, without being bullied or insulted.
I don't support the abstinence until marriage movement.
My mother, maternal grandmother and a few of my female friends do.

Why did you have to reveal that to your parents?

You don’t have to be married to love someone and having sex is literally ‘making love’ I think as long as you are responsible and it is meaningful then do with it what you like. Itsyour virginity and your body not your parents- you do what you want with it! Just respect it and rock it😝

Your parents don't sound very nice. Assuming that you're old enough and take precautions, sex is a natural and pleasurable activity.

Would your parents like you to buy a car without a test drive, or even before you've learnt to drive? Try before you buy ..

Well I think it is something to cherish.
Nowadays its quite the normal for girls to be sexually active whilst still at school.
The longer you can remain a virgin the better that being said, there aren't many of us girls that walk down the aisle still virgins.
Dont feel upset about things you are not unclean. It's quite a natural and enjoyable thing to do.
Your parents were just initially disappointed I think in there own heads they expect there little girl to be a virgin up to the time you get married, i know mine did.
So dont worry, you can always pm me if you want a chat I'll be happy to speak to you.
