I don’t know whether to study geology or physics at uni. What kind of jobs can I get with a physics degree?

Physics is a pretty solid subject when it comes to job hunting. Obviously teaching is a major part of this, but a vast array of other jobs in the scientific and technological industries are available via a qualification in Physics. I remember one of my lecturers describing Physics as a 'degree in being clever', which is surprisingly true when it comes to applying for jobs. However, it should be noted that you should only apply for a Physics degree if you're passionate about the subject - it's difficult and unforgiving at times, but at the same time it's incredibly rewarding if you enjoy the subject.

With physics? Pretty much anything. A lot of physics graduates go into finance or IT or data science.
