why do pre-teen/adult kids not do what they're told or follow advice? Watch
is there such a thing as choosing independence by disobedience?
I first realised I was quite disobedient when I turned 13, I think one of the main issues was that I didn’t get along with my parents and that they never actually trusted me.
I did like talking to my mum sometimes, but she always stressed me out towards the end of the conversation.
I think another reason why I was disobedient was because my parents (mum) expected me to get the highest grade in the class which is actually quite hard. + the GCSE results and “becoming a doctor!1!!1”
(It’s an asian thing)
honestly parents don’t always know what they are talking about. they try to do what’s best for you but in reality it’s a trial and error for them. but it’s genetic that teenagers want to rebel. me? i’m just naturally spiteful lol
Not sure that’s a good thing
