Uni halls pranks!

Hey everyone!! So I saw a few videos on youtube of people playing practical jokes on others when they go away for the weekend and leave their window open or something. Just stuff like covering the room in newspaper or turning an ensuite into a jungle (complete with swamp!!).

Well, i was wondering if anyone had been pranked/has pranked someone else and what did you do? I'm really getting addicted to these so please post any practical jokes you've played or recieved! I need a laugh!:yep:

(also, i did search for this already but only found like 1 thread which wasn't very full so if you know of a thread full of pranks let me know!!)

There was a thread in the Sixth Form discussion a while back about people's last day pranks, you should check that out if you feel like it.

My friend covered my bathroom in toilet paper & silly string. When I found it i was bursting for the toilet & couldnt get to it properly because it was stuffed full of paper & there was paper wrapped all around it. Ended up peeing in the shower ha ha

Hmm there was a brilliant thread lurking around this time last year, it was hilarious.

Half way through the year in halls we found out that everyone's key opened about 4 other people's rooms. Stupidly most of these rooms ended up on the same corridor, which led to random stuff 'relocating' while people went away for the weekend. One guy had an XBox and TV in his room, which was swiftly moved to another room when said guy went away for the weekend, before being moved back on Monday morning little to the knowledge of the actuall owner!

I love halls

One of my friends flatmates went away for the weekend, leaving his room unlocked, they moved all his stuff and made him a new 'bedroom' on the landing (it was a 2-story flat type thing), they filmed it and its on youtube somewhere I think!

My friend's dad had something similar done to him, except it was on the lawn of a Cambridge college, and he was drunk at the time so he was put into his beed as if everything was normal.
So he woke up with his own room arranged around him, except he was on a lawn being looked at disapprovingly by staff....

we put a desk and chair in the lift and then when anyone came in we said "do you have an appointment?" this went down quite well, also the swopping of peoples rooms was good, move all of one persons furniture from one room in to another, great when said person returns home drunk and is very confused!!!

i unscrewed the shower head and put a tea bag, coffee and gravy granules in there, so when my friend had a shower he didnt get very clean!

I remember reading about a kid at Bristol uni who returned from a night out to find everything in his room, absolutely everything, wrapped up neatly in newspaper. His curtains, his books, her chair etc. There was apic of him looking a bit grumpy, it sounded hilarious

When my flatmate went to london for the weekend, we unscrewed his peephole and engineered a device from a wire coathanger to open his door through the hole where the peephole had been. We then took all of his stuff out of his room and hid it in the cupboard in the hallway, reattached the peephole and proceeded to re-lock his door with a carrier bag which we hooked to the handle and pulled through the crack between the door and frame. Ingenious
He came back in the middle of the night and woke us all up in a frenzy thinking he'd been robbed of everything he owned haha
My politics teacher was at uni when Scream came out and he said that a couple of lads were going around halls with the Scream costume on, knocking on people's doors and scaring the crap out of them lol.
One lot of students finishing secondary school (sorry, can't remember if they were year 11 or 13) turfed the whole floor of a classroom several floors upstairs! They did it so perfectly as well. You have to admire them - it must have taken a lot of effort, organisation and coordination to do all that before the start of the school day.

well thats just sad!:woo:
I watched a video on youtube ages ago of these guys covering literally everything in someone else's room with tin foil. It doesn't sound that funny but every little thing (even the door handles and doors) were covered in foil, the whole room was silver! lol

I'd be pissed if someone moved my stuff around without me knowing, even more so if it got damaged/broken.

When i was at college, some mates waited until one guy had a 3 hour exam, then covered every window of his car with post it notes....took him hours to get off =P

One of my friends drove into the car park outside our block after the easter holidays to see 3 people waving at her happily, sat on her bed, which they'd put on the path outside the front door  Apparently her dad thought it was very funny. Never trust your housemates to look after your keys for you!
Someone I know came back really drunk from a night out, his friends moved his furniture into an empty room on the ground floor. They then pushed him out of the window and he almost had a heart attack because he thought he was falling to his death =).
