All the Tories are not on here because they are all like 65+. Only the true idiots that vote Conservative. Only the true true idiots do something so despicable and horrible.

And only the most majestic of idiots are so lacking in awareness that they still haven't realised that insulting and abusing people who happen to see the world in a different way to them is not only pathetic and childish... it's also more or less guaranteed to drive people further away from the position they themselves occupy and increase support for the side they oppose.

You need to get a sense of perspective about this, other people see the world/ think differently to you.

So do you!!!

Well...some people need to understand that BREXIT will occur if u voted for Conservatives. People go around saying “no brexit no brexit” then they go and bloody vote for Tories. It dosnt add up.

I do, and I also fully accept that my opinion is just that, and no more or less valid than anyone else's.

I'm sure people understand that. The election was about more than Brexit for a great many people... some Remain voters will have weighed up two things they dislike (eg, Corbyn vs Brexit) and decided Brexit was the lesser of two evils.
Normally, the demographic of Conservative voters is older. Granted I've not seen the stats this time, but given the seats lost, it's fair the 'working class' joined in, hence Labour getting wiped out.

All the marginal Labour seats that voted Leave have all gone Conservative. Huge swathes. The answer in short is: they want to leave.

Had there been no Brexit, it would've been a very different election. Hard to say if the result would've been that different though.

I understand where you coming from however it’s quite pathetic. A person I know who is on minimum wage has voted the conservatives and only realised after what it will mean for them and them family.

BRITISH POLITICS IS A SHAMBLES!!

Politics is pretty ok.

People's knowledge and understanding of it, however...

Are you feeling ok?
Plenty of Conservative voters are posting on TSR today.

I'm 24.
My best friend is 25, her brothers are all in the late 30s- early 40s age range and eighteen other friends that voted Conservative are under 30.

I am simply saying my opinion. Nothing more. Am I not entitled to my own opinion?

I’m feeling fine. I’m putting forward my opinion. And you should understand...unless I’m mistaken the you would like to pay college fees and you want the people of the future to go through something horrible.

You are and I understand you're feeling angry right now but it's not becoming to denigrate others for holding differing views.

I chose to apply to uni for undergrad and postgrad courses, that was my decision alone.
Student finance loans only cover first undergrad and a contribution of just over £10k for first master's.
I work three jobs, have eleven credit cards and funded my last two postgrads myself.

Nothing horrible about paying the financial costs of one's own lifestyle choices.
It's a part of adult life.
The taxpayer is not going to pay for my clothes, utilities, ivf or credit card bills.
I'm not entitled enough to demand that the public purse be used to do so.

It does unless it's offensive in some way, are you that easily offended?
If you are then the problem belongs to you my friend, there do seem to be a large amount of people around that don't have the jacobs for the real world.

I’m happy that you understand my emotions. I respect other people opinions but I don’t agree with them.

Now tell us why you voted for conservative instead of why you just didn’t vote for Jeremy Corbyn

So your telling me that you are happy to “work three different jobs, have eleven credit cards” because if that’s what you like then I respect it. But there are SOME not many just a few other people in this country that would do anything but that. You are entitled to your opinion. Don’t get me wrong. I just don’t agree with it...along with many other people out there.

Now it’s not anyone else’s fault that you have chosen this life for yourself.

No, my decisions as an adult are not anyone else's fault and I take responsibility for them.
I choose to work, study, live alone in London and collect credit cards.

My parents are Corbyn revering revolutionary trade union socialists.
I left their home before a level result were out, avoid them like the plague and will never go back.
The credit card collection and three jobs were the price I have to pay for escaping from them.
After 18 years of constant aggression, outings to the picket line/protests, insults, demands and very loud noise nuisance.
Feels like a bargain.
