i am having a problem understanding equilibria and struggling at all calculations. can anyone help?

What do you need help with? Watch freesciencelessons on youtube (very useful when I did GCSEs) and it should clear up a lot. If you still have issues maybe ask one of your teachers to go through it with you outside of lesson time

like i cannot do percentage yield, atom economy,excess reactant or molar volume calculations and i do not understand equilibria at all

Yeah your best option is to watch freesciencelessons on youtube. The guy explains it all pretty clearly and he has the whole specification. In terms of equilibrium, it’s just when there’s a reversible reaction (ie A+B-> C+D but C+D-> A+B also) and the rate of the forward reaction is equal to the rate of the backward reaction. I just gave a basic explanation but watch the guys YouTube videos and you’ll understand it a lot better. It’s what helped me during my GCSEs
