Everyone uses Littmann. I've never heard of other brands.

Littmann has the complete monopoly in the UK. They aren't necessarily the best, but no one knows that they aren't the best and they are what everyone has.

My wife did use an old MDF branded one that actually out-performed Littmann in an independent comparison. They don't sell it any more though. FirCARE supposedly isn't too bad. I'm not aware of any unbiased, up to date comparisons out there. Pretty surprising for a profession that claims to be evidence-based, but there you go!

Never heard of it. As already stated, Littmann is by far the market leader in the UK.
