480 ÷ 15 = 32 hours
Luckily that's a multiple of 8.
So 4 students can deliver the catalogues with complete efficiency.
Do a similar calculation for the leaflets, but remember you have to employ them for a whole day.

The multiples of 8 are 8, 16, 24, 32, 40, ...
That matters here because it means that the catalogues can be delivered by 4 students working full days so you don't have to waste any money paying them for a whole day when they are only working a part day.
I could have said "32 is divisible by 8" : that would have been equivalent.

Ok so 32 hours then 1520 /80 is 19 so 32 +19 =51 hours, so need 7 students £50.40 * 7 = 352.80?
