Perhaps Italy, provided you include the Roman Empire.

Wales.

Only joking.
UK, Germany and France I'd say. I guess Spain as well since they have shaped a whole continent (South America)...

More recent years is the USA...but they got their culture from us.

Germany, I'd say. Shaped pretty much most of the twentieth century for Europe, as well as done a lot for the previous few centuries too.

Russia had only a very brief period of "dominance" in the late 18th Century.

The Soviet Empire was nothing compared to that of the US.

Probs, overall, Britain for a longer period - US have only dominated post-WW2.
The United kingdom. Biggest empire in history, still a world power today, a lot of important scientific discoveries either took place here, or originated from here. Im not gona make a list, but competent historians will agree  Its not a matter of pride, its just fact
I'm going with Greece or Italy

:top:
When people say the UK they mean England and I agree.
In recent centuries, Britain, but by 'comtributed most', I am assuming you mean influence rather than good influence

It's not about "dominance".

Israel. Namely the birth and crucifixion of Jesus Christ. I think you'll find very little history which hasn't stemmed from this.

Greece. The very pillars of civilisation.

It was very important in the medieval era as well.

Yeah I guess you have to acknowledge ancient Greece and Rome as well.

Pre bout 1000AD it got pwned though, and history is a hell of a lot longer than just 1000 years before now.

Influence, then; the two are symbiotic.
