Lancelot Gobbo is one person, right? So in the book why are Lancelot and Gobbs presented as two different characters speaking two different things? IDK if that made sense, but I have my English mock this week... so could someone please explain this to me? Thanks so much!!

There's Launcelot Gobbo, Shylock's servant, and Old Gobbo, Launcelot's father.
