That girl was scary - who would actually call themselves stupid and seemingly be proud of it?
I'm sure she'll be a glamour model one day though, which would be a partial achievement of her goal.

I watched it last night and I feel exactly the same as the majority of people on here.
My favourite part, well I don't know if favourite is the right word but anyway, was when they went to the modelling agency and the woman (quite rightly) said they were looking for a more natural look, that they wanted "11 year olds who look like 11 year olds". So the mother was asked would she change Sasha's look, and she was so (falsely) insistant she would do whatever Sasha wanted to do, and when Sasha said she didn't want the bleach blonde hair but that her mum wouldn't let her change it, she just kind of laughed it off. Roll on a few scenes and you see her mum bleaching her roots.
That was just one example of the mother's, I don't know know even what to call it, pushiness obviously mixed with desperately trying to live out her dreams through her daughter. What lessons is she teaching her? Beauty is all that matters- well judging by some of the things Sasha said on the programme it seems she has already learnt that sadly. Let children be children!

i agree with everyone else about this programme, i hated the mom she was so pushy and annoying. Especially when Sasha had the newspaper and her mom looked at her disgustedly when asked if she wanted to read it, and then was trying to snatch it out her hands when she saw she was in it :s:

the dad was awful as well, he just went along with it all and actually called his daughter stupid to her face :s-smilie:

If the girl was happy with it, then I would have been fine with the programme as its something the child wanted to do.....BUT it was very clear that the girl just didn't want to do it. Her attitude & facial expressions proved this. Her mother was trying to make her daughter do something she wanted most likely. Poor kid never has got the chance to be a child!

Don't know if anyone's mentioned this...But I felt so sorry for Sasha at the end, when they were really trying to make the point that the parents were incredibly proud of their little boy (who let's face it...was not very good) and she was just kind of second best.

It was all 'well we knew he'd be brilliant'...No wonder the girl only aspires to be 'blonde' and 'dumb'. Obviously it was edited a lot but it was so sad.

Also - mummy's calender was FOUL :biggrin:
