Any diet should be balanced. I'm using a keto diet now, and like any diet, it greatly changes the body. One of the indicators that you need to pay attention to is amino acids.
Anyone got any suggestions for some easy to prepare, high calorie meals?
Meal Idea 1 - Pasta (approx 1000 cals) 150g (uncooked) pasta/spaghetti) 200g-250g (uncooked) 20% fat mince beef Any Sauce of your choosing
Meal Idea 2 - Chicken Wrap (aprox 1300 cals) 2x Toritlla wraps (large) 2x Chicken breasts (I usually use these as they are high in calories) 4x Hash Browns ( I use these or ones from Iceland) Grated Cheese Nandos sauce, Mayo etc Can have (Oven) Fries on the side
- brown rice - various pastas - Asda brown wraps - canned beans in water - brown potato’s - chicken breast - whole sale various frozen fish from COSTCO. - frozen veg
As lazy as it sounds, I tend to buy various marination sauces. It’s easy for meal prepping then at the end I’ll add a little more sauce. Watch Cris Jones videos for some meal ideas
