Tort - Defamation on Social Media
Hi everyone, I am currently writing an essay which is criticising current defamation law in the UK with a specific focus on social media. I was wondering if anybody knew of any significant cases other than the ones I currently have as I feel I am missing something obvious!
I have: McAlpine v Bercow; Monroe v Hopkins; Stocker v Stocker and Monir v Wood.
My worry is that this essay is 3000 words and I don't have a lot of cases to back-up my arguments. I have tried going through textbooks which don't go into the topic much and the journals I find are almost always on American cases which does not help my argument. If anybody knows of any please help because I feel like I am screwed!
