c3...coursework?! Wuhh?! we get no coursework of such sort
Count yourself lucky you don't do MEI. It's worse than GCSE I swear. I'm already fed up of the Autograph software we're using. The coursework is worth like 20 UMS or something and it is sooo boring it's untrue.

oh and are we required to put AS grades on our UCAS form?
It depends, did your school certificate your AS results i.e. on your sheet on results day did you get a little number out of /300 for your entire AS?

erm..do you mean the candidate statement sheet thing? That has my marks out of 300 on it but my sister who did he A-levels in 2006 got the same sheet in the same format but didnt have to publish her AS results?
That's because the rules have changed When your sister did her A levels, she would have been able to decline her grades. The rules have changed now so you can't decline grades. The only way you can conceal them is if they have not been certificated which in your case it sounds like they have. So you have to declare I'm afraid. You don't have a choice.

but if we're doing resits like if we're on the border of a B and we resit one module and get it upto an A then technically the grades on the UCAS form will be incorrect wont they? What happens about that?
They have still been certificated and you still have to declare the grade you got at AS. This is regardless of any resits you may be doing. If you don't believe me, just look on UCAS.

I am chilled. It wasn't just for you. Others may not be aware of the new selection process and may be wasting an application.

    Now they hopefully won't.

I'm so nervous and anxious about whether I've made the right choices or not. I can't believe I'm getting to the final stages to applying. I bet my choices will end up being oversubscribed, especially UCL, and I end up with four rejections. Always the pessimist me! But yeah, I just want one offer. I know the next couple of months is going to be a huge rollercoaster for me - I'm paranoid enough as it is already! Just got to keep my fingers crossed like the rest of you.
