Midwifery 2020 - home or away

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone could give advice on whether to stay at home or away during university. I have tirelessly considered both options but cannot decide what would be best.
I have applied to bcu, Nottingham, Leeds’s Cardiff and Leicester with BCU being the only one close to home. I am unsure what would be best financially and also in terms of making friends and maintaining friendships and family relations back home. Any advice on what works best?

Financially it’s best to stay as close to uni as you can really because if you move far away you’ll have to buy a uni flat then pay the bills & cost of public transport e.g trains and stuff to go back home to visit family if you don’t drive etc. You’ll be closer to family & friends too if you move away for uni you’ll risk drifting from your friends at home
