Okay I know there is something like this (probs which I created) around here.

I was wondering if anyone wants to share there weekly budget so I can get an estimate on how much I will need a week.

If my finance EVER gets sorted *grumbles* I'll have about £60 a week. But I'm limiting myself to £30 so I can save. To start with anyway, just to see how that goes.

I've lived off various budgets, mood dependant.

    Lowest Budget:
    - £5 food
    - £5 other stuff
(When doing this, I only went out to places I could get in free, and I drank soft drinks).

My budget now though is more:

    - £10 a week for food (I buy a month's food in one go for £40 - buying in bulk is cheaper)
    - £20 a week socialising (takeaways, drinks, random spending)
    - £10 a week for other things (usually I don't spend this, then buy something largeish at the end of the month - e.g. clothes, or a new Wii game).

I was on the Sainbury's website the other day, managed to get a weeks shopping for £14, which I was quite proud of.
