oh no :s-smilie: why are you going thorpe park now! i wouldve strongly advised you against it, its peak season, so you will be waiting ages for each ride :frown:
anyway, since youve booked them now, is it possible to print them off at school/uni library? (i do that a lot...) if not contact thorpe park, tell them your situation and ask if you can just email them your confirmation email, they may then give you a code or something which you write down then bring to you at the ticket entrance.

When would you recommend going to thorpe park? I'm wanting to go soon.

On topic, they usually only need the reference number from the email anyway. Call them and ask. I'm sure it'll be fine; you'll only to make a note of the reference/confirmation number.

anytime that ISN'T school holidays, so the next nearest time would be september, and thats when i plan to go to alton towers. i wanted to go this summer, but realised that its really not worth it. Ill go on about 3/4 good rides now, whereas in september i can go on a lot more! much more worth it for the money youre paying in september

most schools still actually haven't broken up.
I have before, you will have to have the card and cardholder who booked the tickets, and the number on the e-mail is very handy.

Hey!

Just wondering if anyone can help?
I booked a ticket for thorpe park with lastminute.com and it says print ur confirmation email out and take it with you. One problem.... I dont have a printer. Does anyone know whether they'd just accept me giving them my confirmation email?

When i book directly through thorpe park, they require you to present the credit card you used to book the tickets at the pick-up point. I'd imagine you definitely need the written confirmation, i.e. the printout.

It's not too bad now, because not everyone has broken up from school. It's a little busier than low season because there are still year 11s and U6s and people at uni, but generally it's not as bad as it will be in a couple of weeks.

Just turn up and wait for one of the staff to approach you and offer to let you in for half price, as long as you pay them in cash directly, straight in their own pocket, big scam they run at the park.

I went this time last year and got on two rides.

Old thread, but just to reiterate what the person said above me - the weeks before schools break up can actually be worse (busy, queues wise) than the summer holidays since many many schools go on school trips at the end of term. So yeah, not a good idea. Well, only if you go in after 3pm.
