Receiving Mail and Packages
I was just wondering if I have something sent to my college (Grizedale) before I arrive on Jan 7th, will I be able to collect it from the porters lodge? because the student handbook says mail sent during vacations should be addressed to Security Reception, but I'm not sure when that it
The issue is that over the holidays the college porters double up between colleges, so there might not be someone there to accept it. So it completely depends on who's covering who at the time. You can look up the exact dates on the uni website (Google Lancaster Uni term dates).
