I bought some LED Strip lights for my flat the other day and was just wondering if it would be okay to put them on my wall? I know you shouldn’t really stick things up that are going to ruin the wallpaper so I was thinking about just putting them on/under my desk. However when walking through my accommodation, I’ve noticed someone has LED lights on the wall and they look really cool, of which is why I was wondering if they’d be okay. Although it’s fine with not

Best to ask your accommodation officer/manager.

Depending on the adhesive you use, it could be a problem if they are hard to remove/take off paint in the process. If you're worried, ask your halls manager, although don't be surprised if you aren't officially allowed to have them (as the tenant you saw may not have got permission).

Most places will say no, but as you've said students still do it anyway. It's a gamble
