    lol exactly, it should be in the government's interest to get extra money..& we'd also no longer have to waste dosh on cabs or rush our evenings to end before midnight

    It's okay but it's a bit too expensive :| I realise I actually spend about 15 to 25 pounds every week from taking the tube

    In my experience it's just as good as other European cities with an underground (Paris, Vienna, Lille, Munich), only substantially more expensive.

    Besides the fact that it can get crowded, it is usually on time, which is the most important thing.

    Agreed- even with the student discount and buying a monthly travelcard, it's overpriced.
