Refund from a different currency

I am getting a refund from amazon.co.jp into my debit card this is probably a stupid question but how will JPY go into my GBP account? Will it be converted will i be charged for it? could anyone tell me

Amazon will refund the money in local currency to them so JPY but the bank will convert it to GBP, there might be a charge but couldn’t say for certain you should be able to find this out on your banks website as all account charges should be outlined in the accompanying documents when opening the account, these will also be on their website.
