Applying to unis in October, results coming out in January

I’m not sure if I can explain it well but here it goes. I’m an international student applying to the UK for medicine (for 2021 intake). I’m doing CIE A levels and will take my exam in the Oct-Nov session this year 2020.

Now as I understand it, I’ll be sending my application through UCAS by 15th October. But since I’ll be giving my exams in November, my A Level results will be out in January. So I’m assuming any offer I would get will be on the basis of my predictives?

So like if I would’ve taken the A levels in June 2021 I would’ve gotten my results in August 2021 like people in the UK do. But instead I’m doing my A Levels earlier in November 2020 with results in January 2021.

Should there be any problem with my application whatsoever?

That’s fine and completely normal. Lots of applicants have results pending in January.
