The comparison is so old now lmao.
I never understood why it bothered people so much, having influences and borrowing elements from music happens all of the time. In all genres.

Take Rihanna's 'Wild Thoughts' for example, the whole backing track and guitar playing was taken from Santana's 'Maria Maria' but people don't bat an eyelid. You don't find people saying "Oh, might as well listen to Santana"
