Level 3 Diploma Question

I plan on taking a level 3 Diploma on criminology this year. I heard that takes up 3 A levels meaning I will only be study criminology. Is that true?
No, I study the level 3 diploma in criminology and 2 other a levels

A level 3 diploma with a level 3 extended diploma is equivalent. You will probably do a one year diploma and then build ontop of it, if not, dont do it.

It Is also worth noting that diplomas are not allways recognised by red brick university's.
