Hi how do you know what T-test to use when doing hypothesis tests

hopefully this is what you're looking for- it depends on whether the study was independent groups or repeated measures/matched pairs

So if I want to see if the mean distance of medicine ball throw is higher in bulkier athletes is true would this be related or unrelated T-test

I'm not entirely sure, I (mistakenly) assumed you were looking for stats tests for psychology- I don't know if these can be applied...
