Make it feel cold and tingly, then evaporate.

Why don't you jump into a huge vat of it and find out? Then, come back and tell us. I'm interested.

It might dry your spots out a bit and possibly make them go away.

Or join a forum and ask people on there. You'll probably get lot of sarcastic...

Probably nothing, it's an anti-septic so will kill bacteria on your skin but it's not going to help the deeper underlying problems that are causing your spots. Go and see a GP and try and get some Duac gel (an antibiotic mixed with benzoyl peroxide) and antibiotics (lymecycline/tetrasyl is easy as it's one a day) and you should see a dramatic improvement within a few weeks.

be intensely drying I should think, maybe slightly burning? I can see the temptation if we're talking about a spot, but can't see it being a good idea.

Wait, are we talking about neat alcohol? Applying to the skin? Or the effects on the skin of drinking it
