Burger King launches plant based whopper.

However, according to sky news, vegans can’t eat it as it’s cooked on the same grill as the meat based products.

So isn’t it pointless then?

Meh they're only vegans, not like they'll get all uppity and stage a sit in whilst screaming at normal people about how they're murderers..
No, it has a point as it's aimed at non-veggies looking to reduce meat consumption. This is mentioned in the article :s-smilie:
While I won't be buying it, I agree with this quote:
‘Cross-contamination is always a risk but it isn’t a major concern for most vegans,’ Dominika Piasecka, spokesperson for The Vegan Society told Grazia. ‘Veganism is about helping the animals with our purchases rather than the personal preferences of vegans; it’s doing your best to avoid products that harm animals.

‘Buying and eating a vegan burger that has been cooked on the same grill as meat does not support animal exploitation and many vegans would happily purchase such meals,’ she concluded.
