I am struggling with how to structure this question because there is just too much to write about: How does Steinbeck present loneliness in "of mice and men" through the character Candy?
Could anyone give me an example answer? I want to see what the perfect answer would look like so I can work towards it.

I havent done this novel but ill try to help you in the best way possible.
First, if there is too much to write about try to pick the points you feel confident about, and that you know will get you higher marks beacuse you can analyse them more.
Also this is a very good technique i learnt At GCSE and it always got me high marks is, Make a point about where lonliness is presented do the whole PEEL step, but in the end try to talk about how Steinbeck did not present lonilness that effectively. Examiners are impressed if you argue like this.
Context is also important remember to include it.
Here is some sample answers i found that may help you with your question.
