Does the difference in price for accommodation (catered vs self-catered) level out by the end of the year? Is it actually the same? Do you end up spending the saved money on supplies anyways so no point?

Socially, is it better to be catered for the first year?

PLEASE GIVE ME ADVICE!

I would imagine catered will still end up more expensive; as you’re paying for the cost of the food, and towards the salaries of those who are preparing the food as opposed to self-catered where you only need to pay for the cost of purchasing the food.
