How to secure funding (private, not student finance) for a 2nd degree?

Hiya,

I'm looking for some advice/help/direction as to how I secure funding for my second degree.
I dropped out of uni in 2015 after 2 yrs of study due to family circumstance.
I have been told to appeal my funding in my second year, which I shall, however I'm fairly certain it aont be granted as I have no evidence of anything taking place only my word for it.
I have been pointed to private funding, not self funding. Take out a studnet loan to cover the years I cant, or until student finance kicks in. My questions are:
- what is the preferred organisation to go through to do this? What organisations to apply for for funding?
- are the circumstances similar to that of Student finance? I be been told they are but at a high percentage of interest when I begin to repay them?
- can you have both student finance and private funding?
- any articles or forums to help with is really appreciated, I havent found much on a returning students funding, only successful cases of appealing student finance (I'm sure mine wont be so I need to look elsewhere).

Thank you
Lucy

You should really do all you can for a compelling personal reasons claim.
When abouts did you drop out in year 2?
Did you explain to the uni why?

There is no preferred organisation. Future finance is a commercial lender which specialises in such or you could try your bank.

Commercial loans charge interests and they want repayments quickly. If you cant pay the send debt collectors and will destroy your credit rating plus take you to court.

I might use a high street bank , but you are unlikely to be loanworthy.
Are you after the same degree?
Did you only use 2 years?
Did they give you a certhe.

If I was in the situation I would pursue cpr.
If I couldnt do that I would get a job and save the fees up.
I would not get a loan or use FF.
