Has anyone sent their ipod to apple 2 be repaired?

I might have posted this a while ago

but my battery life is terrible i.e lasts for 10 seconds

how does the repar service work? is it reliable? i.e will i get my ipod back withing a reasonable length of time etc

its true, i probably costs them more to repair it than to send out a new one. and heck who's gonna complain?

No idea, but I'd say anything is better than a 10 second battery life. What have you got to lose?

1000000000's of iPODs have the battery problems, it shouldn't take long. I hear that the service is good, but replacing it means it won't last forever

No rechargeable battery lasts forever. So most ipods they sell will need to have a battery change once in their life i would have thought, i dont think it will be that uncommon an occurence soon. Its a sad fact of life!! :smile:
