what is a synapse reaction? examples? what is a breakdown reaction with examples?

A synapse reaction in short means that a electrochemical signal, so a stimulus, get over from one neuron to another. By this process, the stimulus overcomes the synaptic cleft. Examples are so many in existence. Just think about the nerve system between the muscles, muscles and organs... etc. All muscles and organs consists of or are connected with nerves, so neurons. And these neurons in turn have their dendrites and the dendrites the synapses in order to trnasmit the signals.

If it is what I am thinking, then breakdown reaction means that the neurotransmitter acetylcholine is broken up into their constituents, acetate and choline what is caused by the enzyme acethylcholinesterase. As they are broken up into their constituents that influence the signal transmission: signal power is reduced to prevent an overstimulation. A perfect example of overstimulation is the brain. When it comes to overstimulation, it may lead to burnout or a collapse what leads to mental pain. So the breakdown reaction is a process to prevent a psychologial illness in this case.
