I've started revising and for science specifically, I read a page of the revison guide, then watch a video about it using freesciencelssons. Then, I answer questions in the workbook. Quite a lot of info gets in my head. But not all. Do you think there's a better way to revise and retain information?
A very good way to revise is to teach what you know to someone else who doesn't know. If they ask any questions you don't know the answer to, you can look the answer up on the internet or in your textbook. It helps you filter out the bits you know and the bits you don't know, works your long term recall, makes sure you don't miss any obvious bits, and also allows you to investigate and understand further any other interesting bits.
