Temporary solution to save iPod touch ??

Hi !!

I'm leaving on my hols tomorrow and haven't had a chance to get a case to protect the very easily scratchable back of my ipod touch so I was just wondering whether had any temporary ideas to protect the back of it. Anything is an improvement to my idea of selotaping kitchen roll onto the back !!
Buy one at the airport?

put it in a plastic wallet?
Stuff it in a sock. Like an iPod sock, but cheaper!
If you're near Central or South West London, the computer store I work at sells Invisible shields for iPod Touch - fantastic piece of kit. It's a clear piece of film that makes it totally scratch resistant without being visible!
If you are going by plane then you'll find a Currys.digital in departures at most major British airports. I wouldn't imagine there is a country in the world where you couldn't find an electronics chain to buy a case.
