I have received my grades and I got a 2:2, but was very very close to a 2:1. I initially did an HND which i topped up to a full degree for a year. I think i was a hard worker, going to University (as I lived at home), stayed and went out with mates occasionally, but generally came home and spent the rest of the week solid researching and at a computer.
As i was a top-up student my University does the classification slightly different, to receive a 2:1 you needed to get 4B's from 7 modules include your independent study. or to get a 2:2 4 C's. My results were as follows:
3 - B's
4 - C's
I had one module which i had b- for the one assignment and C for another, if i would have got a C+ i would have got a 2:1.
Has anybody got any ideas of what to do, or are in the same boat. As I've been reading it's much harder to obtain or be filtered for job applications.

You got a 2.2. You don't mention any good reason why the mark should be considered so presumably you can't change that.
