Ah thank you. That makes me feel better. I’ve not had anything from they yet except the ‘thank you for applying’ email. Hopefully they won’t be too long 🤞🏼😬

Congratulations! How long after the interview at Plymouth did you hear back? I’m anxiously waiting after my interview last Wednesday! x

6 days  Was before Christmas, just waiting now for them to change my offer to adult nursing as for some reason they have me child.
Good luck! x

Congratulation, its conditional offer? What requirement you have to do to make it unconditional offer?

I have to pass my access course, plus a DBS check and health review.

Oh no, how strange they have you down for the wrong course! I’m sure it won’t be a problem to correct it to adult as they have more spaces on the adult course I think (I’ve applied for child). My interview was last Wednesday so it’s been just over a week...I imagine they’re really busy with the UCAS deadline etc this time of year so I’m trying to be patient haha! Thanks xx

How long you take access course? Is it QCF in health&social care? Many thanks

No, already have a QCF level 3 which I completed in 2018.
The course is one year, started it last September.
I’ve just got an interview invite from uclan! So happy! Now I’ve got until 25th March to prepare 💪🏼

i'm 38 and have applied this year so will (hopefully) be a mature student doing Adult Nursing from March

I have 3 kids (one with additional needs) and have wanted to be a nurse for as far back as I can remember but this is the first opportunity I've had to follow the dream!

I'm 31 with 3 children and I'm starting adult nursing in March. Taken 11 years to get up the courage to apply and I'm still terrified 😂

Thank you Amy, are there any maths tests? I am just double-checking as I have been told you don't do tests at Staffordshire University on interview day! :-) Very excited for my interview!

Hi @IonaBubble

Just picking this up from Amy.

There are no tests here we’re interested in applicants’ values-base and why they want to enter into the healthcare professions!

Hope that helps,

Thanks

Shaun
