What do you guys think the grade boundaries would be?

Should be atleast 48 for A
U will compare both sample A will store little energy doesn’t deform plastically a small stress causes a large strain yet sample B has a high tensile stregnth can store a lot of energy so can expand without breaking i seas that it also endures a very high stress

For glue it goes through plastic deformation stores more energy night youngm isn’t brittle

You sure. Not about high young modulus high stress etc

It wasn't as hard compared to June and October 2019.I finished on time. What did you get as velocity of steam? I That question confused me.

İ found 3.4

I found it using e=f x/A ◇x

how ? He gave u the original length i couldnt use all infos i calculated the area in the previous question yet i stoped and one piint
how many marks was the popcorn kernal velocity question?

Yeah me too the distance was around 6.3 which was around 12.6 cm in reality and we had the time but in mili seconds

How did you find the young modulus

Gradient * 9.81 = K constant
then finally
K*(Lenth/Area)

yea i got 3.4

Yep same
Working was
Find mass of corn
find mass of water
find mass of popped corn
calculate total enrgy of un popped
subtract with kintetic energy of popped corn
then remaining kinetic energy is equivalent to kinetic energy of the water
then substitute for Velocity
Wow this is some long aSS working shEESh
