Will employers care more about the modules or name of the degree?

So I am thinking of applying for Swansea PPE (I know but I think its the best one for mediocre students like myself and has good student satisfaction) it seems to let you specialise a lot in economics and I was not sure if I should take ppe or econ as econ seems more practical but i think I would enjoy ppe more. So is PPE with a a lot of modules in Economics going to be attractive for jobs or masters wanting Economics? Thanks

I’m sure employers will look at your degree and will also be interested in experience, so if you’ve done more modules in a certain area you could make sure they know that hence they’ll see that you have good knowledge in that area.

Ah yeah I suppose so does the type of degree matter more like where it's from, is it a 1st and if it is BA or BSc etc Thanks

Are you using it for employment or a Masters? Masters in Economics tend to want a lot of maths, that may not be covered in PPE, so take care with that.

Otherwise, generally you don't go into module detail in a CV or job application. If employers want to know more than the degree title, they will ask about modules specifically.
