Did anyone do the Carol Ann Duffy set text or a play as an essay? If so how what question did you choose and how did you find it in this years prelim?, I found it okay. I am still a bit confused with what the set text 10 marker was asking, but I think it must just have been my poor knowledge of the other poems.

What set text are you studying?
and that’s unfortunate, it counts for a large percentage of the final mark.

What essay did you do for that one? I thought the essays were pretty good for choices this year.

I agree, the essay options were really good. I did number 1, it was about conflict. What did you pick?

I did conflict as well, did you do between an individual, 2 characters or many which options fit better with your play?

Yes
As I said I am still confused. Possibly due to my poorer knowledge of the other poems more so. If someone else who has done it could explain what theme like the connections between the poems that would be great as we don't go over it for another 2 weeks.
