It was good overall, but I didn't know anything about the bird one and reclassification.

Wasn't it related to molecular phylogeny? :x

they are specialized. some genes turned off and some on. the ones on were translated and turned into amino acids. the amino acids were used for making the protein making up the cell and insulin production. they release insulin by exocytosis
(I wrote random stuff about epigenetics too)

I made a mistake in converting micrometer to millimeter. I used 0.01 instead of 0.001

I wrote the same.👀 Some genes were switched on by dna methylation and histone acetylation

the one that was beside it on the new thing (the one with diff genus) because they came from the same main branch which meant they had a lower phylogenetic difference ( thats what I wrote)

idk if this was right but I wrote

A mutation might have took place which caused it to change size. Mitochondria has its own dna so there is a variety of different sizes each can come out in.

I put that the image was produced by a TEM, which only creates 2D images, and the difference in shape is due to the different angle/orientation of the organelle.
