So we recently got our report and apparently i got 2s and 3s in my mocks. Now i know i didnt put that much effort in my mocks cuz i was so burned out from my november mocks. And now im apparently predicted 3s and 4s bearing in mind ive gotten 7s 8s 9s since year 10 and i have an interview with a grammar school and theyve asked to bring my report and it has 3s and 4s written all over.

I would definitely advise you to bring your past reports and maybe some past papers before your mocks that got you 8s and 9s, and perhaps say that you have been through a 'rough patch'. I'm not sure whether the grammar school will be empathetic, but surely it is worth a try? Good luck though!

They won’t think you have lied because you have the evidence from previous exams and support from your current school. Just be honest with the Grammar school because they will appreciate that more. If you are capable of 7s, 8s and 9s then they will see that and understand your potential. Just be confident in your self and open about your results and why it happened. Good luck!
