Is this not mean't as normal everyday?

According to my friend I was visiting last week at home in Leicester, this:-

http://www.figleaves.com/uk/productzoom.asp?product_id=PM-7709&colour=whiteandpink

is not okay to wear as normal everyday underwear. She thinks it is only mean't as bedroom wear.

Obviously I am suggesting it is worn with a skirt and blouse or something where it is not noticable.

I have got that set and had planned to wear it and she was quite shocked I was going to.

Would anyone else wear this during a normal day?

If nobody's going to see it under your clothes, it doesn't really matter, does it?

Errr, if it's comfy and looks fine under clothes and makes you feel good, then who cares?

Reply 3

Your mate sounds like a right prude if you ask me. If I had the body of the model wearing it, I'd walk around town in not much else ahaha.

Reply 4

go ahead and wear it.

its your body, your clothes.

plus its underwear, its not like youre wearing it on its own and parade round on the streets like that.

Reply 5

if it makes you feel more confident who cares! :p:

Wear what you feel good in.
Who care what other people say?

Also - I'm sorry, I'm a grammar Nazi - but where is the missing letter in meant? Isn't needs an apostrophe, because it's 'is not' being shortened. There's no missing letter in meant.
Sorry!

The superfluous apostrophe is certainly not meant to be used in a normal everyday situation.

Nor is the word superfluous

:ditto:

My friend wears Ann Summers stuff every day because it makes her "feel more confident".

generally I'd say it's bedroom wear...but as long as you wear it under something then I guess it's fine...although under a blouse would you not be able to see it? and wouldn't a regular bra be alot more comfortable?

The word superfluous is never superfluous

I would wear it if I didn't feel like such a beast atm. A trip to the gym for me!

Reply 13

Well it looks like most of you agree with me. If its worn so its not flashed around then its okay. That was my take on it anyway.

It really does make you feel more confident as well. I did not expect that when I first wore it but it does make you feel good!

I wouldn't personally wear it every day to school or work or something, because if I was going to wear something that nice I'd want it to be when someone else would see it too :p:

I know what you mean. Unfortunately that special person is not in my life at the moment. It does however give a little buzz just knowing you are wearing it!

I wouldn't wear the suspenders and stocings but the rest of it sure

Ok, im going too just put in a professional view and then a personal one

Professional, do NOT wear as an everyday bra, basques and corsets actually mess about with breast tissue and aren't really pratical and comfy generally.

Personal, it's your body and your choice..just take the above into consideration, any other bra advice check out this thread

If you want to wear it then wear it. I would imagine it would get rather irritating after a while, so I understand the whole bedroom scenario your friend was on about. Anyway, wear it if you wish.
