it is how TSR measures your awesomeness ?
you should find your points total at the bottom of the main page.
the number of little green gems is connected to the points total.

Are you able to post a list of 12 gemmers, and then somebody else can do some guestimates/asking around. I'm assuming that who has 12 gems isn't protected info because it's usually displayed on threads.
