ugly in photos but good looking in real life

i know this might sound weird and all but i was wondering if anyone is in the same situation as me.

im a 17 year old guy and basically i look extremely ugly in all photos of me, i.e. its either a dodgy angle, the lighting is bad so it makes my skin look bad, im pulling a stupid pose, my smile is wrong etc etc. and because of this i hate things such as facebook (i.e. photo tagging)

which obviously is understandable if i was an ugly guy but im not, well im not stunning or northing, but im a hell of a lot better than my photos

anyone understand where im coming from?

Haha i understand perfectly!! Whenever i go on nights out, i always look awful on photos, but my excuse is that i am always too drunk :smile:

Don't let that get to you-seriously! Think about it-would you rather be a fake and it be the other way round where you are nice in photos but ugly in real life!? I wouldn't want it that way round!so like I said don't le it bother you as it s not important what so ever as not everyone is photogenic!-xx

I know exactly what you mean, i am decent looking but in cameras i look very weird. I think its something to do with the way photos are reflected or something as one of my eyebrows seems higher than the other and my skin looks weird when in reality my facial skin is very good.

Aye, taking a picture in the mirror makes me look normal. I can hardly walk around with a mirror all the time though lol.

I used to take bad photos,, but it was mainly because I didn't feel comfortable infront of the camera, but once I stopped trying to much, pictures became awesome :biggrin:

My advice would be - stop thinking about it and try to be relaxed.

(ORRR you can always practice infront of the mirror) ;D

Hm, I have the same problem op! I don't like have bebos etc cause I don't take a good pic, but I think I'm quite good looking in the reaaaals.
