Warren CONFRONTS Bernie Sanders: "you called me a liar on national TV" Watch

Bernie tries the gaslighting technique of accusing the accuser - "You called me a liar" - and asks to talk about it "later" (away from the cameras, presumably).

He is then clearly left flustered by the confrontation, and rudely brushes off a fellow contestant who just wanted to say hi.

Thoughts? Are Warren, and her upwards of 4 witnesses, all lying? Or is Sanders, who has every reason to lie, telling the truth?

Warren confronts Bernie on live TV. "You made me spell ICUP!"
Bernie has a long track record of couraging women to engage in politics, supported Warrens run in 2016, and has repeatedly called for a woman president. All i'm saying is Warren used to be a Republican.

Both are lying to some degree.. Warren is cleverly lying to make it seem like the conversation meant something that it didn't.. change just a few words and the implication changes from him meaning that it will be hard for a woman to win in the sexist enviroment of a 2020 election vs trump.. to thinking a woman can't win an election because shes a woman.

Sanders is lying because obviously the conversation did happen, and pretending he said nothing of the sort is a lie.

Warren is playing a dangerous game, I don't think she comes out well from any of this, and she needs to be very careful that in taking out sanders, she doesn't do permanent damage to herself. After all, once sanders is gone, she needs his voters to come to her (as they should ideologically) for her to beat biden. If she alienates all his voters now, biden or pete from the moderate side will just stroll to victory.

Honestly it's like they are handing the election to trump.

Not a single strong candidate.

Sanders has no chance of winning. I can already see the fear stories the likes of fox will run about him.

who gives a ****?

Sellout Warren, is just trying to pick up her failing campaign after watering down her copied (from Bernie Sanders) policies after taking money from corporate donors.

just another way to get dog**** like CNN to push corporate owned people like Biden.

To be fair to Warren she was told during a time where it wasn't super easy to get a 23 and me test. A lot of native persons in America agree shes done her best to rectify the situation, and she does still have native American ancestry, just not as much as she thought.

I wanna sit them both down in a room and be like

''Warren, would you rather have Sanders as your next president, or Trump?''
''...Sanders''
''And Sanders, would you rather have Warren as your next president, or Trump?''
''...Warren''
''THEN WTF ARE YOU TWO DOING''

Warren is a back-stabbing snake. Why would a conversation from 2018 just come out now? How very convenient. She has probably struck a deal with Biden to take Bernie down.

She has the same or less than the average white person, accounting for the margin of error on the tests. The average white person in America has some native American ancestry.

It would have been very easy when she was younger to think 'hmm, should I declare myself as native american to gain an advantage in my career?' then to look in the mirror.. to look at her mum, and her dad, and both her grandparents, and think 'nahh...'. You really don't need a DNA test to see that warren isn't native american and shouldn't be using it to her advantage for years until caught out.

I'm sure if I used the phrase 'white passing' you may roll your eyes, but there are many people who are persons of colour and who do very much look white.
Now I agree with you on the fact that she spoke about it for political gain, and that she was no doubt brought up, socialised, and contextualised as a White American. I don't necessarily think she could be faulted for being lied to about her heritage, but I do also agree it shouldn't be what she runs her platform on if she has no idea what life on a reservation is like (Spoilers: not great) or the type of discrimination native persons in America face (spoilers: quite a bit).
I think its a case of poor foresight and political gain yes, but I do also think its wrong to take that heritage from her. Also a lot of Americans are most likely white European in terms of heritage, especially Irish considering the large amounts of migration.
