How was the paper? What did you guys write for Q1 part 2 about the observation of bromine water to sodium iodide? And what was the percentage purity of Na2CO3?

It was relatively easy. I wrote iodin as red brown and no change for chlorine
The purity was 55.7%

Same here...it was super easy. Finished 30 minutes before though I had a doubt in 1 or 2 questions.

What did you write as to how to reduce uncertainty without changing apparatus and repeating experiment?

I did it within 40 min😁 .
I think the answer is related to rate of reaction. Greater mass of mg, greater conc of HCl or usin powdered mg should do the trick. As for reason, greater temperature change due to more energy release at small time

We only had 4 candidates in our exam hall so it was easier and fun...all of us finished at least 30 minutes before the finish time so we just talked with the examiner
