I mean, I agree and disagree. GCSEs does lead to an unnecessary amount of stress, but because of GCSEs, we have A levels, which I find a better option than say doing all core classes until you hit 18.

I'm an adult and I would sign.
GCSEs are a total waste of time and to think it takes years of studying in an institution called British school's run by moron teachers is amazing.
I got GCSE equivalents as an adult and it took me 2 weeks to study and pass.
Waste of time and life.

Actually I disagree. I think GCSE’s can be really useful for figuring out what your strengths and weakeneses are academically and give you better understanding of how you work best, what you are interested in, what each subject entails as well as giving you a lot of general knowledge about the world.
HOWEVER, I do agree that there should less emphasis on the grades aspect of it because learning should be about actually enjoying the subject, and (apart from maybe maths, English and core science) just be graded as either “pass” or “fail” (maybe the boundary set at the current D/C grade boundary )

Yes. I need as many people to sign as possible so I can take it to the council and get them to cancel gcses

Why?
I just think that instead of banning them the education needs a massive reformation and the way and when GCSEs are done needs be changed..

Fair enough. I just think the school years should stay the same instead of doing gcses
