Doctor doesn’t use gloves.

I went to the doctor recently so she could have a look at a scar that I have on my chest. But she didn’t use any gloves when she was feeling it.

However she washed her hands later on. I thought it was weird that she didn’t put gloves on during examination.

Is this normal?
Honestly, it seems weird to you, but touching a chest is like touching your hand to Doctors. If there are no fluids involved, then they really don't need to wear gloves. She probably washed her hands before and after.
The feel of a skin lesion gives substantial information which is used to make a diagnosis. You can’t feel much through gloves.

Gloves would only be used if body fluids were involved or the skin problem was likely contagious.
Why is it weird? She was just touching your skin, not sticking a finger up your back passage.
Normally.....doctors aren't meant to wear gloves unless it is necessary- no body fluids were involved and unless the wound was open they don't need to.
