the aqa further maths gcse is starting the grade 9-4 system this year. i’m taking the gcse in the summer and i’m wondering if it’s going to be extremely difficult to get a 8/9 bc i’m assuming everyone who is going to take that exam will be good at maths. in normal gcse maths grade boundaries are scaled on what everyone got so is it going to be the same for further maths bc i don’t want to take it if there’s a possibility i could get a 4/5/6

I don’t do further maths gcse but for all grade boundaries it’s based on what everyone has done overall even in normal maths gcse. But good luck on your exam!

Oh, I forgot to add, it is rather easy to get a 6, I think that hits the 66% boundary?
